After spelling activities, we reviewed our homework.  Possessive nouns can be so confusing but we will be working with these for quite some time.  We worked in our literacy groups.  Our understanding of reality and fantasy is out of this world!  Guys in Space turned out to be a pretty funny story.  Who would have imagined they would pay for their root beer with plastic fish?  Tomorrow, we will write new endings to this silly tale.  Sparkle was fun.  Our National Geographic magazines are filled with super articles about animals and people.  The photos are incredible!  After lunch, we read some of our SSR books.  In math, we worked with estimating differences.  This is similar to estimating sums, only now we will be subtracting.  Crunching our apples made for funny photos!  In social studies, we took our quiz on communities.
