After spelling activities, we took our spelling test.  Our Word of the Day today was “discover.”  It is such a “spicy” word!  We worked in our literacy groups and then took our Selection Test on Guys from Space.  Our new endings to Guys from Space were very funny!  We enjoyed sharing them with the class.  Math followed recess.  Subtraction with regrouping proved to be no problem for us!  We were excited to work on several problems on the board.  In the afternoon, we reviewed our homework, recited the Apostles’ Creed, prayed the rosary, and read some Charlotte’s Web.  Singing practice had us lifting our voices up to God in a most beautiful way!  Have a magical long weekend!  Enjoy the extra time to relax!  Don’t forget to change those clocks back!
