We Are a Class of Poets!
Mrs. Buck's update for November 21st 2006
One of our morning activities this morning was evaluating a chart to answer questions. Do you know which state has the largest population of Native Americans today? We do! A fact and opinion activity with spiders was a fun way to review this skill. After checking our homework, we had a go at our “I” poems. You should read some of these. We can’t wait until we compile them together to make a class book. After recess, we had gym with Mrs. Green and Mrs. Lee. Playing Prisoner, Dodgeball, and Octopus was so much fun! After lunch, music with Mrs. Grayum had us raising our voices in song. Multiplying by two continued in math today. At the end of the day, we had religion class. We talked about a very special saint, Saint Cecelia. She is the patron of music.
