After working with spelling activities and reviewing some of our homework, we met as a class for discussion.  We talked about upcoming art projects and voted on the month we will enjoy our Dance-A-Thon prize.  Another important topic we talked about was treating one another with respect.  It is so essential that we put ourselves in other people’s shoes.  Hopefully, during the holiday season especially, we will work to be peacemakers and show love for one another.  Literacy groups followed.  Sparkle was a blast as always.  Writing out directions for others to follow was fun!  You should see how the artwork turned out.  They are hilarious!  We finished up What Do Authors Do? and also read some Charlotte’s Web.  In math, we took our quiz on multiplication, reviewed multiplying by fives, and sang one of our math songs.  In religion, we continued learning about penance.  Singing practice prepared us for mass tomorrow.
