Spelling activities started our morning.  Hats off to the students who read for the Book It Program and achieved their goal. Way to go! A review of homework and our spelling test filled up the rest of the morning. The fourth graders did a lovely job at first Friday mass. The theme of peace was an excellent choice for this time of year. After recess, we took our selection test and worked in our literacy groups. In math class, we made our Math-O boards and played a game of Math-O using subtraction and addition. Art class had us making our very own Advent calendars. We enjoyed scrolling up the good deeds. Hopefully, we will make our best effort to do one good deed each day leading up to Christmas. It will be a wonderful way to prepare for the birth of Jesus. At the very end of the day, we read several stories about Jesus and forgiveness. Have a magnificent weekend!
