Five Senses Collages for Art Were a Blast to Make!

Mrs. Buck's update for March 29th 2007

Our morning began with spelling activities.  Our Word Wall Wizard Word of the Day was:  “until.”  Our sentences using this word were phenomenal!  After checking some homework and working in our literacy groups, we finished More Than Anything Else.  Booker must have been so proud of himself when he learned how to read.  We had many interesting questions about what life was like back then.  In grammar, we learned about how some pronouns are subject pronouns.  We talked about the 11th Station of the Cross:  Jesus is Nailed to the Cross.  Jesus even forgave the soldiers who hurt Him.  That must have been so hard to do.  After recess, we continued multiplication with regrouping.  We completed problems in our copybook and at the board.  A game of Around the World had us using our addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division facts.  After lunch, we copied our homework and read our SSR books.  Mrs. Grayum’s music class had us singing and smiling!  In art, we created Five Senses Collages.  You should see these masterpieces!  They should be in a museum!
