Our day began with a Word Ladder Vocabulary sheet.  We also worked on compound subjects as a review.  We were surprised to learn just how far different planets really are from the sun.  Millions of miles is very, very far!  After working in our literacy groups, we took our grammar quiz on the five parts of a friendly letter and combining sentences.  Our simile poems are coming along nicely.  They are going to be part of our performance assessment grade for ILA for the end of the year.  Spring Show practice with Mrs. Grayum helped us with our stage positions.  After recess, we played kickball outside for gym.  The weather was simply magnificent!  After lunch, we explored measurement of weight in math.  In religion, we continued working on our “I believe Jesus is with me” illustrations.  When do you feel Jesus’ presence?  We also talked about the Marian calendar and prayed the rosary.  Today we began the Glorious Mysteries.
