Our Tuesday morning began with spelling work and a Word Ladder sheet. Our Word Wall Wizard Word of the Day was: “writing.” Don’t forget to drop that final “e!” Next, we practiced for our Spring Show. After practice, we worked with our new vocabulary from Floating Home in our reader. We found out who we are writing our third grade newspaper articles with and decided on topics too. It’s going to be a neat newspaper! Recess came next, followed by Gym class with Mrs. Nolan. After lunch, we copied our homework. We received several tests back, along with our Terra Nova scores. Our dress rehearsal of the Spring Show was great! We performed it for the entire school. At the end of the day, we did some math work with metric measurement.
