We Are Proud of Our Precious Planetary Projects!

Mrs. Buck's update for May 23rd 2007

Our day began with cooperative work on our planet projects. We learned so many different things about the planets. You are sure to find out something new when you read our reports! After some spelling activities time, we worked at our literacy centers. In reading, we began our story Floating Home. Maxine has a very interesting art assignment to complete. Can you imagine traveling to space just to draw a picture? Omri is thinking about turning Little Bear, Boone, and the new Native American woman into plastic forever in The Indian in the Cupboard. Do you think he’ll do it? After recess, we had computer class with Mrs. Nolan. After lunch, we copied down homework and read our SSR books. In math, we explored measuring in liters and grams. Social studies was a blast! We learned all about Benjamin Franklin and created funny modern-day pictures of him.
