The school year has officially started!  We are all so excited to be in third grade.  Today, we learned a lot about our classroom.  The Wonderful Word Wizard is going to be a magical way to celebrate new words and expand our vocabulary and dictionary skills.  We discussed our Class Rules and School Rules.  Who do you think will be the first to earn a Mrs. Buck’s Buck?  Our Magic Marble Jar will be fun to fill up.  Although our day was filled with many “business” matters about our classroom and books, we did get quite a bit of work done.  We created mini name posters, describing who we are through words and pictures.  Our “Dear Me” writing pieces will be exhilarating to read at the end of the year.  They also gave us an opportunity to practice some cursive writing.  Kind words are flying on our religious bulletin board.  We had a phenomenal day!
