Our Word of the Day today was:  deserve.  Our morning began with spelling activities and literacy centers.  Sparkle was a blast, as always!  We checked out some great books at the library.  Lucas got his head stuck in a chair in Class Clown.  He’s crazy!  In math, we used hands-on math manipulatives to show amounts of money in different ways.  We also discussed why it’s so important to understand money concepts.  Religion had us solving liturgical year riddles and adding prayers to our books.  We received back our tests, which need to be signed tonight.  After lunch, we read our SSR books.  In social studies, after taking our communties quiz, we finished up our Mexico City travel brochures.  Our post-lab in science helped us realize how much we used our brains during yesterday’s lab experiments.  Sometimes we forget how much our brains help us out.
