Our Wonderful Word of the Day today was:  disappointment.  It’s a long one!  After working on spelling activities, we took our spelling and reading tests.  Our Mexican Cookbook covers look amazing!  We can’t wait to start cooking!  In Math, we shopped at Bob’s Discount Bonanza.  Some of us received great discounts on such items as a Wii, swimming pool, laptop computer, and even parakeets.  It was a fun, meaningful way to learn about using money and counting change.  In religion, we listened to this Sunday’s Gospel reading about the dishonest steward.  We talked about how little good deeds can lead to big ones.  The stories and examples we shared were empowering!  After lunch, we read our SSR books.  A review of graphing skills proved beneficial in social studies.  We created a class pictograph to show which Mexican foods we like the most.  Be sure to ask us about Lucas from Class Clown to find out what happened at the mime assembly.  Music ended our busy week on a magical note!  Have an incredible weekend!
