Our day began with spelling activities and our Wonderful Word of the Day:  discover.  This word also happens to be on our Word Wall!  We read more of Nate the Great:  San Francisco Detective.  Hopefully Nate will find out the whereabouts of the missing joke book.  In handwriting, we practiced our d’s.  Our math maintenance sheets came next.  We reviewed for our test on Chapter 1.  Flag football in gym class had us burning off a lot of energy!  After lunch, we read our SSR books and copied homework down.  In religion, we took notes on the epiclesis part of the mass.  We also created visual images of the three symbols of the Holy Spirit (dove, tongues of fire, wind) to help us remember them.  In science, we had our pre-lab.  Using models for the human body, we understood how we will use a pulley system in the lab as a model showing how bones and muscles work together.  Lucas is going to be ringmaster in the class play in Class Clown.  Will he get cold feet or will he run the show?  We can’t wait to find out.
