Our Word of the Day today was:  encourage.  Who do you encourage?  How?  After spelling activities, we worked in our literacy groups.  Our reading test on Nate the Great came next, followed by recess.  We took our spelling and grammar test before starting math.  In math, we reviewed rounding and worked with this topic at the board.  Mrs. Buck tried to trick us a few times!  In religion, we listened to Sunday’s Gospel and talked about how the rich man was not kind to Lazarus.  The Magic School Bus Inside the Human Body was a great way to learn and review important facts about our current science topic.  Ms. Frizzle is a hoot!  After lunch, we read our SSR books.  In social studies, we talked about resolving conflicts and role played scenarios to show the appropriate responses.  Our “Helping Others” paragraphs will be in the hallway for others to read.  Maybe they’ll be inspired!  Music ended our fantastic Friday with song.  Have a terrific weekend!
