Forgiveness is a Beautiful Gift!

Mrs. Buck's update for November 27th 2007

Today our Wonderful Word of the Day was:  migrate.  It is a perfect time of the year for this word since many animals are migrating to warmer locales.  After working on spelling activities, we checked over our homework.  During ILA, we met with our literacy groups.  The Centers activities sure help us review different skills!  The new class book we are starting will be filled with Christmas stories.  Our group story this week sends a nice message about friendship.  We started reading The Stories Julian Tells.  In handwriting, we practiced the capital Q.  The judge doesn’t know what to do about Kris Kringle in Miracle on 34th Street.  A special yearbook picture outside was fun!  All of the students at St. Elizabeth’s gathered into a star shape!  After recess, we worked on a math maintenance sheet and created Math-O boards.  We enjoyed playing a few games of Math-O to review for tomorrow’s quiz.  In religion, we continued our discussion about Advent and sketched our designs for Advent banners.  We also reviewed the sacrament of Penance.  After lunch, we copied our homework and read our SSR books.  We had Confession in the chapel and our hearts were filled with God’s love.  At the end of the day, we completed our Pre-Lab for tomorrow’s Lab.
