Our day began with reading The Talent Show in our reading textbooks.  After working on spelling activities, we added another ornament to our class Jesse Tree.  We listened to how Adam and Eve are a part of the tree.  After checking over our homework, we discussed field trip and bus rules.  Our field trip to the Herr’s Potato Chip Factory was a blast!  We learned a lot about how these products are made, which tied into our social studies topic of goods, services, producers, consumers, and trade.  The chips hot out of the oven were very tasty!  After eating a nice snack treat and our lunches, we came back to school.  In science, we worked on our Pre-Lab for tomorrow’s Lab.  We also worked in our literacy groups.  With the help of the post office, Fred proved that Kris Kringle is truly Santa Claus in Miracle on 34th Street.  We are nearly finished this wonderful Christmas tale!
