Our day began with our Word of the Day:  observe.  What are some things that you observe?  After reviewing our homework and working on spelling activities, we added a new ornament to our Jesse Tree.  Jacob, the son of Isaac, dreamt about angels.  He was told by God that his descendants were to be the chosen people of Jesus.  In reading, we worked in our literacy groups at class book, centers, and with Mrs. Buck.  Our science test and math quiz came next.  Christmas poems before recess had us thinking about Christmas miracles.  After recess, we met with our Kindergarten buddies to help them with a project.  Gym class with Mr. Bruno was loads of fun, as usual.  After lunch, we copied our homework and read our SSR books.  We finished up our good copies of our Career Projects.  In science, we had a Pre-Lab to prepare for tomorrow’s lab.  We learned about protons and neutrons.  Static electricity is going to be fun tomorrow!
