Our day began with our Wonderful Word of the Day:  permanent.  What is something you know of that is permanent?  After working on our spelling activities, we added two ornaments to our Jesse Tree:  The Angel and Jesus.  We can’t wait for Jesus’ birthday on Christmas!  After listening to Ramona Forever on cd, we took our spelling and reading tests.  In religion, we finished up our Advent booklets.  They look amazing!  Recess came next.  We finished up our Advent book.  Then, we worked on an activity that filled our hearts with the Christmas spirit.  We each had our own mitten.  Everyone in the class wrote kind words about us on our mittens.  It made us smile!  Our Advent prayer service was beautiful.  It was exciting to reflect on all the things we did to prepare for Jesus’ birth.  Have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
