Our Wonderful Word of the Day was:  tread.  Where is a place you might tread lightly?  After working on some spelling activities, we met in our literacy groups.  We were very excited to have Mrs. Buck back!  In library, we selected some great books with the help of Mrs. C.  After recess, we took our timed test on the 6’s multiplication facts and then completed some practice problems for the Terra Nova.  Making paper chains with our prayer buddies was a nice way to break up our test practice time.  Prior to lunch recess, we completed more sample Terra Nova questions and filled out our name sheets for the tests.  After lunch, we copied our homework and read our SSR books.  In the afternoon, we watched the movie The BFG.  It is neat to compare it to the book!  Mrs. Buck wants us to get a good night’s sleep and eat a healthy breakfast tomorrow to prepare for our Terra Nova tests!
