Today’s Word of the Day was:  wreck.  Do you know of any place that could be described as a wreck?  After working with our spelling words and Word Ladder sheets, we took our comprehension test on Boom Town.  We also had our science quiz on the solar system.  Despereaux has lost his tail in The Tale of Despereaux.  What will happen to the Princess Pea?  It is really getting exciting!  After recess, we took our math test on Chapter 11.  Then, we had a jelly bean sort.  It was a lot of fun to see which flavor was the most common one.  Can you guess what it was?  Red!  Eating the beans was probably the best part of the activity!  Next, we had gym class with Mr. Bruno.  After recess and lunch, we copied our homework and read our SSR books.  In grammar, we worked with verbs in the present tense.  In religion, we continued learning about Holy Week and the Holy Tridium.  At the end of the day, we finished sharing our States Projects.
