We began our day with some review work with previous Words of the Day.  This will help us remember the meanings of the words we’ve had with Wonderful Word Wizard.  After working on spelling activities, we headed to the science lab.  We discovered the relationship between the sun and the seasons.  Checking our homework came next.  Cocoa Ice seems to be a very interesting story.  It is all about two very different places.  After recess, we created family crests to further explore our weekly theme of Heritage and Culture.  You should see how amazing they look!  In math, we took a timed test on 7’s and worked on our math maintenance sheet.  Religion class had us thinking about the season of Easter and why it is so very special.  After lunch, we copied our homework and read our SSR books.  In social studies, we learned about immigration and coming to America.  Despereaux is on a mighty big quest in The Tale of Despereaux.  We were shocked to hear that Cook was making soup.  What will happen next?  We had a fun time at the computer lab with Mr. D at the end of the day.
