Our day began with vocabulary review and Word Ladder sheets.  It is our last group of vocabulary words from earlier this year.  We sure have learned the meanings of many new words.  Next, we took our religion final exam.  Jamie and Claudia went to see Mrs. Frankweiler in From the Mixed Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler.  Will she help them solve the mystery?  After recess, we began working on our final baseline piece for our writing portfolios.  We are writing a compare/contrast essay on how we’ve stayed the same and how we’ve changed from the beginning of the year.  It is so neat to see our growth!  In math, we played a review game to prepare for tomorrow’s exam.  It was the Triangles vs. the Squares.  After lunch, we read our SSR books and copied our exam schedule.  We started cleaning out parts of the room and organizing some classroom materials.  At the end of the day, we had a fun-filled art class with Mrs. McQueen.
