Our morning began with Word Ladder sheets and vocabulary review.  We can’t believe that this is the last set of vocabulary words for the year!  After a quick ILA review, we took our ILA exam.  After recess, we finished up our Compare/Contrast writing pieces and also our Then and Now portraits.  A spelling bee helped us review for our spelling exam.  We finished reading From the Mixed-Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler.  It was really neat to find out the secret behind Angel.  The book had a super ending!  Next, we reviewed for our social studies exam.  After lunch, we read our SSR books and copied homework.  We cleaned the room a little bit and also worked with partners to solve a word search filled with our spelling words.  Our day ended with computer class with Mr. D.
