We had a super day today!  Our Question of the Day today was:  Have you ever carved a pumpkin?  We were excited to see the Pre-School classes on parade in their Halloween costumes.  They looked fantastic!  After our morning meeting and math centers, we were able to go outside for some fresh air.  In language arts, we started working with a new letter:  lowercase “k.”  We reviewed “h” and also read our “Where Are Pumpkins?” books together.  Our Halloween Jokes followed.  After lunch and quiet time, we had science.  Did you know that pumpkins are green before they are orange?  Wow!  Have you ever seen a green pumpkin?  We also learned about a Venn Diagram and used one to compare apples and pumpkins.  At the end of the day, we worked on activities and did our classroom jobs.  We are so excited that our Halloween parade and party are tomorrow!
