We had a marvelous day today!  Our Question of the Day today was:  Are you afraid of mice?  (Nine students are not afraid of mice; six students are.)  Our dog biscuit sale began today!  We sold many bags.  We started our morning off with Chapel Time with Pastor Tina.  She told us the Christmas Story about baby Jesus and how he was born on Christmas day.  After our morning meeting, we worked in our Math Centers.  Recess and snack followed.  Next, we read The Bears’ Christmas by Stan and Jan Berenstain.  It was funny!  In language arts, we practiced our letter sounds, wrote uppercase “S,” and re-read our “at” word family books.  Next, we read our weekly poem together.  After lunch and Quiet Time, we had P.E.  We stretched our muscles, ran some relay races, and played Rudolph Tag.  We all had Rudolph noses on!  Our journal topic today was:  When I think of Christmas, I think of…  Activities followed.  Then, we completed our classroom jobs.
