We had a super-dee-duper day today.  Our Question of the Day today was:  Do you know anyone who has a pet ferret?  (Seven of us do; nine of us do not.)  During math, we worked in our Centers.  After recess, we practiced our Christmas Concert songs upstairs in church with the pre-school classes.  Next, we had snack and read about a Christmas teddy bear.  We practiced the uppercase “U” and “V” and read our weekly poem.  After lunch, we read How the Grinch Stole Christmas by Dr. Seuss.  Quiet Time followed.  Then, we worked on a special surprise gift for our parents for Christmas.  Our journal topic today was:  On Christmas Eve, I…  The day ended with Activities, classroom jobs, and practicing songs.  We sold a lot of our dog biscuits!  It was fun knowing we were helping out a very good cause!
