We had a super day today!  Our Question of the Day today was:  Which would you rather be:  a cheetah or a lion?  (All 16 of us chose cheetah!)  After our morning meeting, we had math centers.  After recess and snack, we read a hilarious book about fables called Squids Will Be Squids.  Then, we practiced our two plays for the Africa Show.  Who knew we were so talented on the stage?  Recess and lunch followed.  We had a Mystery Reader for our read-aloud.  After Quiet Time, we had P.E.  We played fun games involving African animals.  Our journal topic today was:  I think the lion is called the “King of the Jungle” because… We ended our day with Activity Time.
