We had a wonderful day today!  Our Question of the Day today was:  Which would you rather ride:  elephant, camel, or rhino?  (Four of us chose elephant; Two of us chose camel; Ten of us chose rhino.)  After our morning meeting, we worked in small groups at Math Centers.  Recess and snack followed.  After reading about hippos, we met with Officer Katz to talk about Charley Checkfirst.  We discussed how you should always check first when anyone asks you to go anywhere.  In language arts, we reviewed different word family words and reading sentences.  After working with our weekly poem, we had recess and then lunch.  After our afternoon read aloud, we had Quiet Time and P.E.  Instead of playing kickball for P.E. because the grass was too soggy, we went on a nature walk outside in the fresh air.  It was lovely!  Our journal topic today was:  When I look out my bedroom window, I see…  We ended our day with Activity Time.
