We had a marvelous day today!  Our Question of the Day today was:  Have you ever lost your sunglasses?  (15 of us said no; 1 of us said yes.)  After our morning meeting, we worked in small groups for Math Centers.  One group rolled a coin dice and had to match cent amounts with coins.  Another group drew illustrations for number stories and wrote out the coordinating number sentences.  The last group rolled three dice and practiced three addend addition.  Recess and snack followed.  In language arts, we read a book about being nice to spiders.  Then, we re-read our A to Z books from yesterday.  Practicing our handwriting and spelling skills came next.  This was followed by our weekly poem.  After our afternoon recess and lunch, we had Quiet Time and Music.  Our journal topic today was tadpoles.  We finished our day with Activity Time, jobs, and Junie B.  We can’t wait to find out what will happen with Junie B. and that meanie Jim.
