We had a great day today!  Our Question of the Day today was:  Would you rather wear play clothes or dress-up clothes?  (All eight boys chose play clothes; all eight girls chose dress-up clothes.)  We had Chapel Time with Pastor Chad.  He talked to us about how Pentecost is the birthday of the church.  At morning meeting, we had fun sharing about our T-Shirts for T-Shirt Day.  We liked telling our classmates about why the shirts we wore today are our favorites.  After recess and snack, we had Math Centers.  In language arts, we read a book called The Three Questions.  It was a deep book about our goals in life.  We also explored story elements.  After listening to a book called Farfallina and Marcel, we had to re-tell the story and recall key information.  We talked about who the characters are in a book and also discussed setting.  Afternoon recess and lunch followed.  We then had a read-aloud and Quiet Time.  In P.E., we stretched, ran relay races, and jumped rope.  Our journal topic today was ducks.  We ended the day with Activity Time, jobs, and our chapter book.
