We had a super day today!  Our Question of the Day Today was one from a snow day earlier in the year:  What would you rather do:  sell groceries or sell clothes?  (14 of us would rather sell groceries; 1 of us would rather sell clothes.)  After our morning meeting, we had Math.  We reviewed coins and worked with the quarter.  Did you know that a quarter is worth 25 cents?  Recess and snack followed.  In language arts, we read the story Madeline.  Then, we wrote thank you letters for our parents.  Next, we read our new weekly poem:  Summer’s Here.  Then, we put together and read our last A to Z book:  The Busy Pond.  Afternoon recess and lunch came next.  We had Quiet Time and Music with Miss Elena.  Our journal topic today was recess!  We ended our day with an Extra Recess to celebrate X Day of our Summer Countdown.  We performed our new classroom jobs and read Junie B. Jones.
