Miss Sharon
Hello. I am Miss Sharon (Mrs. Buck)!
Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my website. I hope you have found it fun and useful!
I’d like to take this opportunity to tell you a little about myself. All of my life I have been surrounded by children and education. My mother has worked in education for over 20 years and I practically grew up in her classroom!
After graduating Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Art, I realized that I felt most comfortable in an educational setting. I decided to go back to school for my teaching certificate and Master’s Degree in Elementary Education. I received my Pennsylvania K-6 Teaching Certificate in the Spring of 2005 and completed my Master’s Degree in the Spring of 2008. Additionally, I also currently hold a Pennsylvania K-12 Art Teaching Certificate.
I have had much experience working with children and I truly love it. I have three years experience teaching at the elementary level and one year at the middle school level. I have also worked as a substitute and lead teacher in both nursery school and day care settings. Working at a local after-school program enabled me to interact with students at various grade levels. Tutoring has also given me the opportunity to instruct children on a more personal level.
I am currently teaching Kindergarten at St. Matthew’s in Chester Springs, PA. I am very excited about teaching at this grade level. The energy, enthusiasm, and joy that the children bring to the classroom is contagious! We will have a wonderful year learning new things about ourselves, others, and the world around us.
I am so thrilled to have an opportunity to teach and I can’t imagine doing anything else. Every day is a new adventure. I think I will be a lifetime student myself, as I greatly enjoy learning new things. I feel so honored and proud to be part of such a unique and inspiring profession.
Thanks again for visiting my site!
Sincerely,
Miss Sharon (Mrs. Buck)
