Mrs. Buck

Hello. I am Mrs. Buck!

Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my website. I hope you have found it fun and useful!

I’d like to take this opportunity to tell you a little about myself. All of my life I have been surrounded by children and education. My mother has worked in education for over 20 years and I practically grew up in her classroom!

After graduating Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Art, I realized that I felt most comfortable in an educational setting. I decided to go back to school for my teaching certificate and Master’s Degree in Elementary Education. I received my Pennsylvania K-6 Teaching Certificate in the Spring of 2005 and have nearly completed my Master’s Degree. Additionally, I also currently hold a Pennsylvania K-12 Art Teaching Certificate.

I have had much experience working with children and I truly love it. Prior to teaching at St. Elizabeth’s, I taught for two years at St. Francis of Assisi School. I have also worked as a substitute and lead teacher in both nursery school and day care settings. Working at a local after-school program enabled me to interact with students at various grade levels. Tutoring has also given me the opportunity to instruct children on a more personal level.

Currently, I am teaching third grade. It is my third year teaching at this grade level and I absolutely love it! I am so thrilled to have an opportunity to teach and I can’t imagine doing anything else. Every day is a new adventure. I think I will be a lifetime student myself, as I greatly enjoy learning new things. I feel so honored and proud to be part of such a unique and inspiring profession.

Thanks again for visiting my site!

Sincerely,

Mrs. Buck
