FYI:  Monday, March 8, is Farmer’s Day.  Go hug a farmer for all their hard work!  Thursday, March 11, is Johnny Appleseed Day.  Do you know who he is?  Enjoy an apple on his behalf.

The classroom responsibilities and rules have been created collaboratively with the students.

Classroom Rules and Responsibilities:

1) Listen to others.

2) Keep your hands to yourself.

3) Talk when it is your turn.

4) Be kind to others and their things.

5) Raise your hand.

Rewards will be given for responsible, respectful behaviors. Commendations are given for students doing an excellent job.  Two rewards in our Kindergarten classroom are “Buck’s Bucks” and “Magic Marbles.”

If a student chooses not to follow the Code of Conduct and/or Classroom Rules and Responsibilities, then:

1st offense: Verbal warning

2nd offense: Take Time

3rd offense:  Note Home/Phone Call
